Rev. Dr. Adrian C. Hendricks

Senior Pastor and Founder

            Rev. Dr. Adrian Hendricks II is a devoted husband, father, educator, researcher, and leadership mentor who has developed and implemented initiatives for business leaders, fathers and minority youth around the State of Missouri. Married for over 20 years to college sweetheart Andria Osborne, Dr. Hendricks enjoys raising their three children and serving others.  Pastor of the Joshua House Church, Dr. Hendricks has established efforts to improve the local community through community organizing and collaboration efforts including the recent development of the  501 C 3 Non-profit ; The Center for Change and Community Life.

In his professional career, Dr. Hendricks has excelled in leadership of all types, including; leading senior managers and executive level leadership in strategic planning, supervisory training, and establishing performance initiatives designed to improve organizational effectiveness and management. Dr. Hendricks has facilitated leadership workshops, trained implementation leaders, initiated statewide conferences and support coalitions, led regional focus groups, and multiple streams of funding tasks force initiatives.   Familiar with local and statewide collaboration projects, Dr. Hendricks has collaborated with approx. 650 High Schools throughout the state of Missouri, targeting youth between the ages of 8-24.

            Dr. Hendricks educational acumens include a Bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University;  Masters of Education in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University and second Masters of Arts in Church Planting with Liberty University. Dr. Hendricks holds a Doctor of Divinity degree and he is currently finishing another Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership with Grand Canyon University.  The soon to be “Dr. Dr”. Hendricks research focus is on the academic improvement of high-risk students and has recently released his first book “Haterproof – Developing a Haterproof Mindset”.  

Dr. Hendricks has managed over 1.7 million dollars, overseeing 12 federally funded grant programs designed to impact High Schools and University students throughout the state of Missouri. Dr. Hendricks is trained and a certified Life Coach with Human Motivational Circle among several other areas of training, including: Pacific Institute of Community Organizing (PICO), Certified Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner by the Center for Applications of Psychological Type (CAPT); Certified Trainer by the University of Missouri, School of Business (MTI) in design and delivery; Certified Achieve Global/ Zenger Miller Skill modules facilitator and lastly; Certified Teen Outreach Program (T.O.P.) Trainer and Train the Trainer facilitator by WYMAN.

Dr. Hendricks is the President of The Council for Drug-free youth executive board;  President of the Ecumenical Leadership Council Central Missouri chapter; Vice President of the JC Youth Advisory Committee, a former board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson City; Executive board member of the focus on fatherhood network, a member of Citizen Accountability Partner’s and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
